Liam F Murphy

At a young age, the duality of Liam's aesthetic passions was already taking shape.  Born in the architecturally iconic city of San Francisco, but baptized in a mountain stream in Oregon, Liam came to appreciate many different forms of beauty and soon longed to capture and share them with the world.

Liam's photographic work combines his formal design training at the University of Southern California's acclaimed School of Architecture with his passion for travel and the great outdoors.  As an avid hiker and accomplished birder, Liam's versatile eye can capture both sweeping vistas and delicate feathers. Similarly, his sense of space and attention to detail can convey the experience of both an entire building or a single stair.  Liam captures the diversity of life with practiced ease and evocative style.
